For the fenton collector or one like pretty glassware here is a vintage fenton amber pineapple console bowl. it measures 4-1/2" tall and a large 11" in diameter. quite stunning of a piece -however it is not perfect. it has a 3/4" long chip on the inside rim. it is not deep or sharp-quite smooth actually. there is a manufacturer flaw that makes it quite unique.- a small discolored area.please do not bid if you do not want to pay shipping . no bidders remorse and asking for points back. the box weighs 3-4 pounds.it is quite a hefty piece but so beautiful.prefer pay pal for shipping. thanks to all who bid!

yes this is genuine fenton. fenton did not start signing their pieces until 1980. this piece is pre 1980. when i got this piece i had to look very hard to be sure it was fenton. it is. in my search, I found this pattern was introduced in the 1930"s. i simply searched on yahoo for fenton pineapple compote. it was then hand tooled. when it was discontinued I do not know when it was discontinued. i got it an an estate sale - the people had passed at a very old age.. so it is a very old piece and not a lot was made in amber. the most expensive ones were done in carnival glass.
