The listing, VINTAGE DEPRESSION GLASS has ended.

Gorgeous DEMITASSE CUP AND SAUCER SET!

This was produced by the Anchor Hocking Company. It it the Fire King Peach Luster Swirl pattern. The cup is 2" tall, 2 3/4" in diameter, base of cup is 1 1/2" in diameter. The saucer is 4 3/4" in diameter and is stamped ANCHOR HOCKING FIRE KING MADE IN USA with anchor and 17.

This set is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, or discoloration. The color is absolutely brilliant, no fading!

My grandmother had some very much like this, more of a golden caramel than orange in color. It came from the Depression, but she always referred to it as "Carnival Glass," because folk won them at the carnival. Both she and my mother had dishes from laundry soap boxes and from the movie theatres, because the management held drawings between movies. I would love to have these items, for the personal nostalgic value. A wonderful start to your budding Listia career. Glad you decided to join the community. Welcome
