Description
The listing, Large Cone of Yarn has ended.
I'm not sure what this is but there is a lot of it. It's wound to 1 3/4" on a cardboard cone that is 3/8" at the top and 2 1/4 " on the bottom. The whole thing stands 7" tall. The Yarn is gray and sort of heathered. It feels like cotton but doesn't shrink. There is a bit of a label inside the cone but not enough to figure it out.Post any questions. Thanks for looking.
Questions & Comments
what weightt do you think this yarn is, or what type?
it is fingerling or maybe sport weight,I was thinking socks or maybe a shawl. My last photo shows it compared to worsted weight cotton. And it feels kind of cottony to me.
Not since i have had it. I bought it at a second hand store .I don't know about before. I am a reformed smoker and smoky things really bother me, This doesn't
I can't be sure, but I think might be cotton cooking twine. I once made a shag rug with a cone of cotton twine that looked like this, except it was white.
I can see where you got that idea. I used to have a cone of white cooking twine. I used it for cooking. This is much finer than the twine i had. There is much more of it.
