Description

The listing, Large Cone of Yarn has ended.

I'm not sure what this is but there is a lot of it. It's wound to 1 3/4" on a cardboard cone that is 3/8" at the top and
2 1/4 " on the bottom. The whole thing stands 7" tall. The Yarn is gray and sort of heathered. It feels like cotton but doesn't shrink. There is a bit of a label inside the cone but not enough to figure it out.Post any questions. Thanks for looking.

what weightt do you think this yarn is, or what type?

it is fingerling or maybe sport weight,I was thinking socks or maybe a shawl. My last photo shows it compared to worsted weight cotton. And it feels kind of cottony to me.

I can't be sure, but I think might be cotton cooking twine. I once made a shag rug with a cone of cotton twine that looked like this, except it was white.

I can see where you got that idea. I used to have a cone of white cooking twine. I used it for cooking. This is much finer than the twine i had. There is much more of it.
