Great book and very interesting. This is book is about the sell of body parts of dead people on the black market. It also gives a history of how this type of thing happened many years ago when grave robbers would dig people up and take valuables and human body parts. Great for research about medical research and the sell of organs without the authorization of family members.
Book Description: Stiff is an oddly compelling, often hilarious exploration of the strange lives of our bodies postmortem. For two thousand years, cadavers—some willingly, some unwittingly—have been involved in science's boldest strides and weirdest undertakings. In this fascinating account, Mary Roach visits the good deeds of cadavers over the centuries and tells the engrossing story of our bodies when we are no longer with them.
