My mother gone since 1984, used to do the dolls of all kinds, for kids christmas. she sold many of them over the year, word of mouth, and Loretta Lynn was her fav singer, and she saw her at the opre, and later made a bed doll all victorian with the long dark hair, and sent it to her. Later got a thankyou and in the Coal Miners Daughter as they were talking to her about her life and the movie the doll sat on her fireplace mantle. Mom never charged for her labor just the material, cause she wanted kids to have a good christmas affordable for the parents.. if in hard times she made sure folks kids all had christmas cause they had it so hard when she was a girl.. fanned and watching.. plz fan back

I just LOVE this! I have a new little niece on the way. :) When my Nana was alive, her gift to all her grandkids and great grandkids was a hand made dolly that she made herself. (even the boys got these dolls, they were just boy dolls) Now that she is not here any more, I wuld LOVE to be able to give this to my little niece in place of the dolls the rest of us received from Nana. Thank you so much for postin it!!!! :)
