I have here for auction an exceptionally nice vintage ring. It is sterling silver, size 5. If your ring finger is larger, this could be worn as a pinky ring. By the style of it I would say it dates back to around the 1920's or 1930's- the art deco era. It has the art deco style design on it of the swan with outstretched wings. It has a light purple stone in it. It doesn't appear to be a precious stone, but is a colored glass oval that has the appearance of the decorative jewelry items of that era. This is a nice one! Ther are no markings on the parts of the ring that would be observable. There is a recess area under the stone where sometimes the marking is on older rings like this. Since I don't have a strong magnifying glass to find it, I went ahead and tested it with and acid test for silver and it came out positive for real silver. I had no doubt from the look of this ring that it is sterling, but I did test it so that I could advertise it as sterling. It's a great looking ring and very unique. May even be worth something as an Art Deco item, but I never checked it out. Thanks for asking about it.

The stone is a little lighter color than in the picture, but it is pretty.
