This is a handmade You Are My Sunshine ring (Rare). Made of a silver round adjustable ring locket with a white gem outline. Include a black you are my sunshine charm, red double heart charm, gold cursive "love" charm, white and red gems.

Does it open to add charms and what is the back plate made of

Yes it opens and is magnetic also... as for what its made of, I'm not positive, copper maybe (it looks plated with silver) but it is metal for sure. Only the front plate is plastic. Its quite sturdy... even has a bit of weight so I wouldn't say its cheap. The locket itself does disconnect from the ring band too. I will post more pictures. I forgot it does that. But it is a tight fit when put together. So I wouldnt worry about it coming apart unless you take it apart.
