They are plastic and a lot more durable than other bulbs, also no mercury. The light is equivalent to 60 watts but actually uses around 11 watts. 2 Bulbs.

Not a silly question in this day and age! Yes, they are brand new bulbs. I tested them to make sure, but they were never used. They were give-aways at a recent event and were given without wrappers. They work very well and last so long, that I don't need all that I have!

Boxed and padded with newspaper or other suitable packing material via USPS least expensive with tracking. The date range for delivery is between 2 and 10 days, depending on the ship to area. :)
