Here we go again folks... I have another anti bark collar up for grabs. this one is used but only briefly. it has been tested and it does work. I took the batteries out so they won't die in transit. (I hope) it comes with the instructions and batteries. (no guarantee they will last very long but they aren't expensive.) good luck to you all and happy bidding.

lol I thought I answered this but it isn't showing up... so here goes again... we used it on a one year old black lab puppy who weighed about 75 pounds. it is rated for 8 pounds and up. it has been tested and does work and was only used for about two weeks.

Hi and thanks... I don't see why it wouldn't work on an older dog. what it does is give them a very small shock when they bark to redirect their attention. they learn to associate the barking behavior with the small shock. this is how they learn not to bark. I know that it isn't painful because both my husband and I have shocked ourselves with it. it delivers no more of a shock than a joke lighter or pen would. we broke a lab puppy of excessive barking in about two weeks. (not guaranteed to work that fast.. but he was a really smart puppy.)
