The listing, Dell Axim X3 PDA w/cradle has ended.

Dell Axim X3 PDA, works fine. When you turn it on, a message comes up saying the backup battery needs replacing. As long as you never let the regular battery go completely dead, it's not a problem.

Comes with the cradle and AC adapter.

Any specs? Did you upgrade it at all? Also, the battery issue..... it works outside the cradle? For how long does the battery last?

no I never updated or anything, but I bought it used. don't know what was done before I got it. yes, it works outside the cradle. I have never used it for a long period of time so I can't speak for the battery life

no, I do not have the installation disk, but the drivers can be downloaded from dell if you need to. all of my computers automatically installed it with no additional drivers needed.

The battery issue is referring to the back up battery. This would be an internal battery (watch type) used for holding the memory if the rechargeable battery is fully discharged. This is an easy fix and would not effect the function of the PDA or the amount of battery time. This is a great auction by the way!!
