A "Proof" coin is a specially struck coin at a USA mint. What is done is that instead of just simply 'Stamping" out coins from a blank ... each time they stamp one out they polish the dies that the blank is inserted on, over and over each time a new coin is made! This creates a "Mirror" effect on the coin because the dies are so very free of dust etc! To be sure it is a much more "Perfect" coin than all others that are simply "Pressed" out in the usual manner.

I will auction this beautiful Kennedy Silver (40% of this coin is pure silver!) Half Dollar off and to the winner will go THE WHOLE SET! I will include the quarter, the dime, nickel and Lincoln cent, all made on supremely polished dies at the San Francisco Mint way back in 1968! Each coin is so mirror like you can see yourself in it easily!

I will package each individual coin in a 2 inch by 2inch holder for safety and display purposes!
