The loom is not very big, but for all the materials to fit into a flat rate box, the box must be a USPS Medium size, which = $10.95 shipping.

Well, I'm not in this to get the most I can from people, I'm only hoping to avoid putting good things in the trash...which would be free for me. I figure if someone else wants it that's fine, but if they don't, that's fine too.

so I've been doing a little math.
On Amazon this loom - NEW - costs about 30-33 dollars. (free shipping)
You can purchase credits from Listia at about 1-5 cents per credit.
Buying at the cheapest rate a new loom is worth about: 3000-3300 credits.
I'd have to deduct 11 dollars shipping worth of credits from the estimated worth of the loom (in credits.) 11 dollars shipping is worth about 1100 credits.
TOTAL REASONABLE CREDITS I can bid on a new loom is: 1900 - 2200 CREDITS.
Technically this is a used loom (it's been opened) so maybe 30 - 50 % off its original value?
hmmmm...what to do..what to do.....
watching...A VERY NICE AUCTION, BTW!

You forgot to add the value of the book with 13 patterns in it. That is sold separately.

good grief. If you can't or don't want to pay shipping...don't bid! This is a good auction, seller is right to only ship this in a sturdy priority mail box. Watching!

I do not blame you for not wanting to pay shipping. I would bid but I cannot at the moment. But I fanned you and I am watching.

Have you given any idea to being able to ship it a little less expensive by putting all materials in a USPS large buble envelope. It would work I do believe, I have used those several time to send stuff from NC. to my granddaughter in CO. It might bring down the cost of shipping and you might get more bis. Just a suggestion.

I thought about it, but I don't want the tines to poke through or get damaged, which would be a very real possibility. I am not concerned about how many bids I get anyway, I just want this stuff to go where it will be used, and not thrown away. If anything I put up for bid on here doesn't go, I'll just donate it to goodwill anyway. I'm not trying to make any money.

So, our son & his family live in Livermore, and we are in CV. Could we figure a way for us to pick it up?? My daughter in law is a legal secretary in Oakland, by Lake Merritt, and she has to go home to Liv 5 days a week. I don''t drive, but she might be able to pick it up for me, as I will b saving it for her 14 yr old daughter {w some yarns, for Christmas!!! It sure would help me out to NOT have to pay that shipping, as I am painfully diasabled & I can't work
