it will work if youve had alltel before it switched to verizon...also if you have switched to a verizon plan or verizon phone they might not let you use this phone...unless you give them heck :) Hope I helped!

Have you asked verizon or some other phone vendor like Best Buy or Radio Shack to delete stuff for you? In any case GOOGLE it!
