The listing, Vintage .925 sterling silver HEART LOCKET pendant/charm - jewelry, not scrap has ended.

Small vintage heart locket, has a tiny dab of glue inside where it has held a picture in the past. Nice, undamaged, and functional.

Not marked (that I can find) but tested sterling+ Penny is for size reference only, and scale shows 2.6g.

An excellent vintage piece, ready to be cleaned/worn or collected. Great details.

How did you test it to see if it is sterling? just curious. It does look like sterling.

In the second picture on the inside right side of the open heart, I put a drop of silver testing acid. It turned a really deep, dark red color (indicating sterling). Thanks for the question!

I really don't know the age. I would guess early 80's. But that's just totally a guess based on the little bit of experience I have with jewelry...

I am sure it is vintage though, based on the lot of stuff it came from. Everything in that lot was late 1980s and prior. Coins, jewlery, garbage pail kids cards, and a few nick-nacks...
