FREE: Vintage thread and Yarn lot

The listing, Vintage thread and Yarn lot has ended.

Over 3 pounds of random (full and partial) yarn cakes & balls, as well as vintage crochet thread. If bids reach 850,000 I will be adding 3 more full yarn cakes. (View last picture to see the bid bonus)

There are 19 yarn cakes (22 if bid amount is achieved), 7 small balls, and over 50 spools of thread.

The brands known are... Red Heart, Lion Brand, Simply Soft, Royal Society, Coats & Clark's, J&P Coats, Lily, Collingbourne's, Star, Diraco, Richardson's, and Sillateen Sansil.

The yarn has been removed from the original packaging and has been placed in cakes (so which yarn is what brand is unknown) also several spools of thread are without a brand name.

From the little bit of research I have done on the thread, this is what I have found.
Royal Society Cordichet thread dates back to the 1910's.
Diraco Silk thread could date back as far as the 1880's to as early as the 1920's (it is on a wooden spool)
Richardson's thread dates back to 1916
J&P Coats pure silk thread dates back to the 1920's or 30's ( also on a wooden spool )
Sillateen Sansil thread dates back to the 1950's
Star Gift Edge thread dates back to the 1970's or 80's.
Collingbourne's dates back to the 1920's
Lily mercrochet cord dates back to the 1950's and the darning cotton to the 1960's.

This comes from a pet and smoke free home. However since the majority of this lot has come from thrift shops, I can not guarantee it has never come in contact with smoke or animals.
