The listing, Vintage American Express Co, Colorado, Brass Belt Buckle has ended.

These brass buckles were found in the late 60's~early 1970's. My Dad bought this one at the Craftsbury Common Art Fair (in Vermont). He sure loved belt buckles! This measures 3 7/8 inches by 2 3/4 inches, and it's heavy!

On the back side it has: American Express Co. recommend Kyanize brass polish. It has the words rare stones, a NTY inside of a chevron, Tiffany Broadway New York under the wire loop. There is an Ad for Kyanize brass polish on a picture of a gallon tin can container (Which it looks like it could use!) and some other text we can't make out.
It's in really good shape for half a century old...a little polish wouldn't hurt, but the patina looks rather nice on this side of americana. :o)

Right now I am in Tacoma Washington with my Daughter and Grandkids for the Christmas and New Year! It is fairly warm as it is raining here! On Saturday I am heading back to Idaho where it had a heat wave today : 19 degrees! WOW! I am 60 years old, semi-retired, collector of all types of "junk" !

Well, good you had a break! I love to collect "junk" too! Our home is very small right now ~ to escape high heating costs partly ~ It's not big enough for too much though. I've got to get to our Storage locker...that is just stuffed with stuff! VA is a long way from VT tho...we're hoping for Spring. :o)
