If this is older then 3 year's it does no one no good. 75 present of the stations went digital so it won't work. I had to buy a new one and there not cheap.

This is a Radio Shack Pro 404 Handheld Scanner with power adapter. Range is 29 - 54, 108 - 138.9875, 137 - 174, 380 - 512 MHz. If I am reading everything correctly this is the model and range of this scanner. I will take a picture but I am not sure how well you can read it. Thank you for the question!

This is an anolog scanner. If your local area has gone digital then you will not be able to pick up anything except analog signals. I got my scanner frequencies from http://www.radioreference.com

My husband has one similar to this one, but he can no longer pick up police stations. Do you have that problem with this one? Do you have codes with this?
