FREE: 14k yellow gold huge natural sapphire pendant

The listing, 14k yellow gold huge natural sapphire pendant has ended.

This is a huge I think 8 to 10 carat natural sapphire. The pendant is not marked but tested as 14k at least. I'm saying 14k to be safe. This was originally a ring setting then was taken to a jeweler a bail was soldered to the basket and converted to a pendant. The original owner said it was too big for her had so she had it modified to a pendant. Hence why the piece is not stamped.. The band probably had a stamp. The stone it self is almost dime size in length with the bail the whole pendant is about the size of a nickel. There are photos of both. I did try to show the acid test with the 10k acid on the left and 14k on the right. Even the 14k acid didn't really fake the gold streak. I would've tested for 18k if I had 18k acid in my kit but I don't unfortunately. Anyhow it's a pretty chunky piece. I just got a new sapphire and diamond necklace that I love so this one and the other I have don't really get worn much anymore so I'm offering them here :) feel free to check out my many other gemstone and gold listings :)
