its not mine the previous seller said its unlocked but im not aure because ive never used it so i just wrote locked just in case

That's a pretty big should. That makes the difference between me being able to use the phone, and me being stuck with an unusable phone. Can you ask them to go to icloud.com, then sign in to their account, then see if the iPhone 5c is still connected to it. Thanks!
