well she used to be a head doctor at the Arkham Asylum where all the bad criminals were held. Dr. Harleen Quinzel was her name there. After a few sessions with the joker, he ended up manipulating and corrupting her mind, in which she fell head over heels in love with him and eventually helped him escape. After that she kinda became his sidekick. Tagging along with the joker wherever he caused mischief. Is she evil? Yes,but not wholly. There are still times where her humanity gets the best of her judgment and she does some good. But if you mess with her puddin', she becomes a real psycho. Shes been changed and her storys been changed a few times since she been created. But overall she still remains the Jokers psychotic girlfriend.
