There's no software necessary, it is a streaming only device. This is a Bluetooth device, therefore, it begins streaming movies, and music the second it connects with Internet.

is there such a thing as a T.V Being too old for this to work on ? does it pick up my modem wirelessly or is a wire needed to go from my internet box to my T V , SORRY IF Not masking sense just asking does the device itself alreay have a wireless card of sorts in it to pick up my iny imternet ? been trying get advice from facebookers friends but no responses so far and times running out ,,

Yes, it does pick up wirelessly, it is a Bluetooth device. Therefore, as long as your television has an input for HDMI it's good to go. I hope that answer helps. If not, let me know and we'll figure it out together. :)

thanks for you speedy response / help , how can i recognize if i have a HDMI Input or not ? -- one ore thing i dont see any controls from the photo so when hooking it up is there a place that i have to input my wireless user name and pass code for it to know to pick up my wireless the same as i do when my kids come over with the games and keyboards for example,, ?
last but ot least if i dont have that HDMI INPUT Then im out of luck am i ?
