no that's wrong if it has a sim card slot than its a gsm as in T-Mobile or at&t carrier iPhone . if your iPhone has siri on it and can go above ios 7.1.2 than its a iPhone 4S and if not its a iPhone 4.

Does it charge, or just power on to the screen pictured (indicating bad battery). Original carrier? Any modifications to stock (out of box) operating system?
