Rare coin! 1944 Abraham Lincoln wheat Penny!!! Look at the Quality of this coin. It has very good detail if you don't believe me judge for yourself, The winner will receive The coin or coins pictured.

I used to work for the government and heard about the campaign to melt down and do away with the old/older coinage and replace it with the newer ones in order to have our current currency more counterfeit proof.

So take advantage of the coinage that you see being auctioned onto is website - not just mine but other members as well; as you will not usually find them in circulation only with collectors and to find them and to only have to pay credits is a blessing!! It would be "Rare" if it was a steel 1944, but being that there were over 1 billion minted that year that were copper not sure this qualifies as "Rare"

Thank you for the information I know that there were a lot minted I explain myself when I said where because it's harder to find them now because they're all being destroyed or collected. I I have steel ones as well one is a 1943. But to be considerate of your opinion I will alter it slightly. But I actually went from store to store went to five stores searching for a wheat penny and was unable to find one - so it may not be as rare as the steel ones I have but it is rarer than the newest pennies or even the ones before those.

Please see the new photo that I added from the Internet listing the most important pennies to hold onto and most important ones to collect and you will see how important the wheat pennies are. Also although there was a large amount of them minted The US government has destroyed the bulk of them and most of them that remain are in the possession of collectors. I tried to do a little research when I do my postings because not only am I fair but I'm very honest I would not want someone to be dishonest to me so I go out of my way to make sure that I would treat others how I would like to be treated.
