Everything you need is in the box, it also includes a HDMI hookup if you have the kind of TV that supports that. There is no Monthly fee or Subscription fee. Its like renting movies in your home, you pay per movie and the movie is stored onto the hard drive of the Vudu box so that you can keep it forever, like a digital copy. It saves time by going to the movie store and saves space from dvds. All you do is hookup the box and there is a esy tutorial that will get you started. You will have to store a credit card on file but thats so that if you decide to buy a movie you can use your card.

Like I said we have a huge DVD collection that we plan to keep so we are gonna pass on this box. This box is pretty much like the Apple TV.
