Okay, I won't ask why someone would want to throw a knife against concrete. One-liner's are too easy here. The "point" is that they can be sharpened to whatever degree you want. If these things have ANY mass at all and are thrown at sufficient speed, they'll penetrate (possibly go through) almost anything. Period.
