I played it with 2 programs on my laptop, and was puzzled why I couldn't hear any vocals, until I found the above message on the back of the CD.

When I listened through earbuds, I could hear them both.

So, if you're playing it on a laptop, you may need dual external speakers, or maybe I don't have my laptop internal speaker set up right.

You should here it fine, with a car CD player, with dual speakers, or a CD player.

It's set up this way, so it can be used for karaoke.

But it could be used as a backing track, or to show how music and vocals are integrated, by fading the balance, from left to right, or righto left.
