yes, everything u can do with an ipod, u can do with this. just plug it into the car and your good to go. I wanted this for my daughter, but it has too many features for her to understand, she's only 7, but wants to listen to music, she doesnt need video and files and everything else. She just wants to listen to Taylor Swift

works perfectly, u just have to upload music and videos, etc. does not need a charger, u plug in usb cord to computer
