No its never been painted. We actually live in my wifes childhood house and when she was younger painted the basement walls green. So its the reflection of the wall.

Wow awesome how the painted well made an iop green even the screen. Wow you could can make money on your photo if you can prove its your photo and thats the iPod. I've done and seen awesome things with my photography. I also really would like this old gen? IPod what gen is it? Could you please post a pic with it working and does it come with charger and sorry one more how many gigs your 4th his the 160::)? I hope so. F&W

It is 160 GB. And i will upload a new picture. Unfortunately im not able to supply the charger for it. I have a dog who like to eat things and i accidentally left the cord laying around. And it got eaten up. I do have a pic of the screen lighting up but will post another of the actual play screen.
