I bought this for my 8 year old. She has use of her left hand only.
The controls are on the left side and she had a hard time not turning it off
Anyway. Used once
No box. Very neat item

It looks like some of the teeth have been broken, does that effect the ability of the brush?

The inside of the brush the shorter teeth are the heat. The teeth on the outside are very flexible and curve with your hair. I took a hard look at the brush. No missing teeth there are several sensors in between the teeth.
