It's about 2.5 feet or so length wise and about 1.5 to 2.o feet wide I am thinkin closer to the 1.5 foot....it's a light weight think plastic so it's not real brass but works geat

It works just fine and NO damage that I can tell ....it was working until we paked up the house...it runs off batteries....;0)

I know you said it runs on batteries, but It looks like it has a hole on the dial for a key? Is that just for looks, or is there a key?

It's over at storage I am not sure but if I get over there I will look and let ya know I know in the picture it looks like there is a whole but that is actually where you open the glass and that's where it is wound up...dunno if that helps but I will let ya know if I get over there...thanks glad you likey
