Description

The listing, Really fake "925" ring has ended.

This is a "925" ring purchased from the Wish App for $1. I see people on here claiming this is a real sterling silver ring. It's real alright, real plated. I have been blocked by others for trying to let them know that it is not real.

I think it's a 7, but don't quote me on that.

That's why unless I know that it's sterling, I put 925 in quotation marks.

I bought 2 of these and cut one in half. The inside was copper, so it's plated. There is also a Chinese company that manufactures jewelry called "925". They either stamp their "925" logo inside rings or they use tags on bracelets and necklaces. So, I'm not stupid.

I don't really care about the jewels.I like your candidness of your ring as well as the many people whom are dishonest. I only wear sterling silver or white gold. Ty.

I have a HUGE sterling silver collection. I mean so much that it's absurd. I can't even fit anything else in my jewelry box. And it's not this fake stuff either.

Thank you for being so honest. I have seen the same rings on here and people bid so high. I feel bad for them because I have also seen them on "wish" and I know they are silver plated even though they say 925.

Sweetie, I have been fighting this losing battle for four years, now. LOL! Losing, as in you won't be able to stop them from being sold on here. For a few reasons, actually. None of them good or understandable, either. It certainly does my heart good to know that there actually is someone else that actually cares that this is going on every day, here on Listia. It is so sad to see so many people get blatantly ripped off right out in the open, and not be able to do much about it. It was a crusade of mine for a while. But it's way too rampant on here for one person to be able to keep up with. I sure as heck tried. And helped out quite a few people, too. But I finally had concede that my one woman crusade was doing me as much, if not more harm, as it was doing others good. I hope you have much better luck educating the masses than I had. I will be rooting for you from the sidelines. =)

Same I have some rings like this but I didn't break out and I have metal allergies, so at least there was that.

I understand what you are saying and doing. I ordered a ring from wish thinking it was real silver but it is like you said plated. I found that out after wearing it and after several mi ths the ring around the stones is showing what looks like copper. Some things from the wish app are good others are misleading
