The magnet test is not always accurate.. only a scratch test is...and .925 is not 100 percent silver...it would be certified and cost a fortune...if it was

She is right about the magnet test. Brass will not stick to a magnet. I learned the hard way. I got what I thought was a Tiffany and Co pendant and necklace, all marked 925. I took it to two fine jewelers, the first said it was nothing but base metal and would not even try to clean it. The second tried to clean it and right under whatever that silver had been was brass. I am in a paypal dispute over it as I paid to have it shipped to me, far more than it will cost me to return it. Sorry to be so long winded, but if you look up magnet test you will discover that a lot of metals fail the magnet test. Also another silver test is an acid one, but it will leave a small mark.

i purchase factory direct..i have to order 300 or more pieces at a time to even get a half way decent price...i sell a lot of them.. they hold up well.. they probably are not 100 percent.. because they would cost me wholesale 60 dollars and i have to buy a large amount to get that price..retail for this one i have seen from 40-70 dollars because shipping is very high on sites that sell them...they are marked .925...i make no guarantee on the percentage of alloy mixed in...

i wore my for 2 years now.. i ckean it in diluted ammonia..a drop of shampoo.. and polish with a silver polish cloth.. it is still very nice..

I am a wholesaler.. i would not sell junk...but if you are thinking that this is a 400 dollars bracelet.. certified 100 percent sterling... it is not... but it is high quality...and never had a return yet...
