This is a cute little metal jewelry box, great for keeping rings in. It's a little banged up, as the pics show, but when it's sittin on the counter or dresser you don't see the dents in the bottom, all you see is the beautiful beadwork and enamel on the top and sides. This opens and closes pretty easily, you do have to twist a little bit because of the dings. It's just the right size to keep on the counter by the sink to put rings in or to keep on the night stand for a necklace or a couple of rings or where ever you need something to safe keep a few small items and yet you want something that looks nice as well. The one in the picture may not be the exact one you get, as I have two, but the condition and the appearance of both are pretty much exactly the same, no major differences.
