The listing, Allergy Watch Button for kids: Gluten Free/Casein Free GFCF has ended.

We bought this button when our autistic son was younger and much less verbal. Gluten-free from age 3 1/2. This button was very helpful at potlucks and family dinners. We did not have to follow him around and make sure everyone knew he was gluten and casein free.

The button reads:
"Allergy Watch"
"Gluten (wheat, oats, rye, or barley) & dairy of any kind"
"Medical attention required if allergic reaction occurs"

The button is used, but still in great condition. Measures about 2 1/4" wide.

Casein something Ive not heard of...have an allergic ADD asburgers son myself will look into THAT now too!

Casein is just the protein in dairy. Casein free basically means free from all dairy. Sometimes people need to be lactose free, but often just with ASD need to be completely dairy-free, not just lactose free. So, when you say casein-free, it means no form of dairy at all.

Sorry, that should read: Casein is merely the protein in dairy. Casein-free diet is basically free from all dairy. Sometimes people need to be lactose free, but often kids with ASD need to be completely dairy-free, not just lactose free. So, when you say casein-free, it means no form of dairy at all.
