I just read Michael Pollan's experience with these and the law (he didn't get in trouble, but a friend of his did). Have you ever had an issue with these?

never ....like i have told people you can grow a small patch of em for flowers and for seeds but no huge farms thats why i only sell em in pacs of 100...

The charges on that man were eventually dropped, but so insane! I'd be more afraid of the local teenagers stealing the pods late at night thinking they could make something out of them, lol.

Totally and completely ILLEGAL to possess any part of the plant except the seeds.
U.S.Law, and it's above any local or state regulations, the FEDS can come in and bust your bottom any time they like. 'Just sayin' if you're growing them, it's illegal in this country. They may not bust you for a few pretty plants, depends on your local Police Stance on Narcotics. Just don't get caught slicing and "milking" the pods! Heh! (oh who would do such a thing?) ROFLMAO!
