Description

The listing, LIVE AIR PLANTS TIERED has ended.

No jars/glass/etc. Included. This is just for plants.
The last 3 are just images I found online. The ones you will be getting look like the ones in the first 3 photos.

This auction is for live air plants. I love these. You can put these in decorations or any where you want. I have even put them on magnets. Its crazy the things you can do with these. In this auction you will get 1 for every 500 credits. I will start it out at 499 but you will get at least one. I just dont like how you get charged att 500 but its free at 499. So at 499 you get 1, then 1000 you get 2, 1500 you get 3 and so on. I have tons of them.. The first 3 photos show a couple of the ones I have here, the last 3 are just a few I found online of what others have done with them.

I need your listia approved address within 7 days or I relist and keep credits. I try to ship asap but can only guarentee they will be shipped within the 7 days. If you cant wait or dont want to wait then dont bid.

Okay, I promise to stop bugging you, but can you show something to get an idea of the size of the plants.

That would be impossible. They range in size from a dime size to the basketball size I have had for years. I send a variety of sizes.

I have one question. Is this the same thing as Spanish Moss? It looks awfully similar. (We don't have Spanish Moss in this part of Georgia, just around the Coastline; and, I'm not near there). Thanks, and good luck with your auction. =D And, if I win, one more question, is this toxic to cats and dogs?
Feb 18th, 2016 at 12:52:34 PM PST by

No it's not Spanish moss. To me they don't look similar at all. And no they are not toxic. My pets have chewed on them and been fine.

Tilanthia is the genus. Most plants of Tilanthia are commonly called either Air Moss or Air Plant. JFYI

The first 3 photos seem to me similar I'd not the same as Tillandsia stricta. Can you confirm that for me, please? TIA!

I'm not a plant nursery so I don't know100% the technical term.

Have yours flowered? If so, what colours were in the flowers?
Feb 20th, 2016 at 7:55:23 AM PST by

I've been around them since I was born so yes they have flowered. They are kind of a reddish brownish color. The best way to describe it.

How do these things grow; like, how do you make them get big?

Also, thank you for answering the question about the plants and pets.

No soil. Just a spritz here and there. If they start looking sad you can soak them. They don't like the cold. Just have patience to get them big. I have one in my house bigger then a basketball.
