newborns do not control their movements and this bag works as pajamas but tied his arms as they do on hospital

Don't feel like an idiot SHARI, I'm trying to figure it out too. My son is 22 and I never seen one of these either. I'm not sure what you use it for or what the purpose of it is? ;-)

It's used to swaddle a newborn. It's just an easier, fool-proof way to swaddle, since not many people still know how to do a proper swaddle with a receiving blanket anymore. :)
