Nice! Do you do a lot of geocaching? I never knew about it until we had a cache in front of our house and we talked to some of the people who were searching for it.

It does not, this is old school military style GPS. It uses way points and virtual roads along with a virtual compass to get you from point A to point B.

I'm not quite sure I understand your question, I will repeat, however, that this is a Garmin GPS40 and the sofware that is on it is military waypoint style. Please view http://www.abnormal.com/~thogard/gps/grmntour.html to get a basic idea of the function.

u download waypoints manu? Translation: Do you input waypoints (geocaching locations) manually? My question was in reference to a part of your description that stated “ will hold 250 locations”. If I gotta input data manually I don’t need it… Sorry for the short hand earlier been Geocaching for 6 years and thought it was clear what information I was seeking.. Thanks

Does it have an electronic compass, or does it only know the direction if you are moving?
