Questions & Comments
I know I won't have enough for this one before it ends.
Carrot_Top_Crafts: It just means that my max bid (currently) is higher than what you put in so it Listia will automatically bid (for me) just a bit higher than what you put in until you bid a number that is higher than my max.
For example (not what I actually bid but trying to give you an idea), if I bid 10,000 credits but the current max bid is only 100 then Listia will only show me winning with the highest bid as being 101 because it is just enough over the 100 bid. If you were to bid 15,000 then Listia would only show a bid of 10,100 because that is all that you need to be higher than me. If the auction would end here, you would only "pay" 10,100 credits (not 15,000) because that was all that needed to be bid to be higher than me. Listia would continue to bid for you over the top of others (say someone bids 12,000) but just enough (you would now be winning with 12,100) to be over the most recent bid until your max is reached.
Hope that makes sense! I have seen others ask the same question and get frustrated so I want to help where I can.
I really like this, but I wish I knew how I keep being overbid. No sooner do I hit submit, when I am told I was overbid.... oh, well. Looks beautiful though.
