LOT OF 16 CROCHETED FISH APPLIQUES

Have 16 crocheted fish appliques. Largest is 4" long and smallest is 3 1/4" long. All have tails for attaching.

The last 2 pics show the 8 different colors (there are 2 of each color).
Would look great sewn on a child's blanket, hat, scarf, sweater, made into magnets, a mobile or add a hook and hang them on the wall. Your imagination is your limit to ideas!

It would definitely be an unusual gift, but, these are only 2" to 2 1/4" top to bottom. I think they might be a little too small for coasters. I will have to do some trial and error to see if I can make these fish into coaster size. Thank you for an interesting idea!!!!

I was going by length and now that I know the width, yeah it's just a little too small :) My mom in law loves crocheted items. I was looking at some crocheted roses (or flowers) when I came across these cute fish. Her coasters and matching place mat have about had it and I want to get her something special since she has stage 4 breast cancer, COPD (not a smoker, but that doesn't matter) and just came down with pneumonia. When it rains, it storms. I have some stuff to do right now but I'll check out your other auctions in about an hour. Thank you so much!

Sorry to hear your mother in law is under the weather. I will still try out fish coasters. When I get determined there's no stopping me, lol. 12 yrs ago I was diagnosed with MS. Had no balance. I have always been an active person so sitting around feeling sorry for myself got on my nerves real quick. It took me 1 1/2 yrs to reteach myself to walk. I now walk unaided and have been raising my grandson since he turned 3. He will be 11 in July. Staying active, I found out thru researching MS, slows down the progression of it. As I said, I am a very determined person, lol. I will find a way to make fish coasters for you! Hope she feels better soon!

She's the only mom I have now that God took mine recently. I went through a little bit of self pity after the car accident I was in and then came the anger. I wasn't mad at the person that caused the accident but the passenger I was riding with b/c the doctor told me that if she wouldn't have thrown her arm across me, I'd be fine. You have certainly accomplished a great feat! That makes me happy to hear =) I embroider and I love it. I don't know anything about crocheting so my hat's off to you there! Would it be just adding some extras rows to the fish or is it more complicated than that?
