These abraded die error coins show at the seat o9f Lincoln's pants as missing details of the log. The bark has been worn off as a part of a Mint technicians attempt to cover up some problems on the die in this area. These are genuine errors as made by the U.S. Mint and are all in brilliant uncirculated condition. This type of error has also been called the "Floating Abe" error.
