This is a Black 4G HTC Sprint Mobile Phone. It has scratches from normal use, it comes with a checkered back cover and a full key pad for texting.

Think she means that she or someone forgot the unlock code to the phone, but a hard reset when you activate it under your line will reset it for you.

I am guessing you must have found this phone somewhere and that is why you don't have the unlock code. But the original owner must have reported it lost or stolen. You can still use it for Wifi or maybe have it flashed to another network...not sure how other companies handle bad ESN numbers but some places will flash any phone.

What ever phone number you have on your sprint account is the number you will have with the phone

No it just means that I do not have the code to enter the phone and when you reset it at sprint under your name it will reset it there

If you pull the battery out the model number and esn will be listed there so we can find out if the phone can be reactivated through sprint. It will be the number lister after the letters DEC or on some phones its just a D. If you could provide that info that would be great!!
