I don't have to worry about the front so to speak and usually wear a small but do have the broad shoulders. If you could measure from shoulder to shoulder, a dollar bill is exactly 6" long. I'm also thinking I'd have more shoulder room because of the extra material in the front, lol! This is adorable!

Its about 16" shoulder to
shoulder via dollar bill (thanks for that tip I will definitely use that a lot) it was 2 3/4 bills across.

I ordered a coat on line size med, it was more like an xs, is that a real med or does it run small?
