I have no idea, I don't do video games and we got rid of the wii and I happen to run onto these and some other items in one of his drawers so thought someone could use them

What kind of charger does it use?

it is two batteries and one cover. They just go into the hand set and charge, I think, not really sure, I don't use video games, but we sold the wii, because the grandson went xbox and I found these in a drawer with a few other items that I forgot I had and didn't let them go with the unit. So was hoping someone could use them

Looks to me like the contacts on the back of the battery fits into the hole on the back of the cover, and then it charges up by you setting the controller into a base/charging stand.

So anyone without the charger would have to track one down before they could be used.
