The listing, Organic Soap Nuts / Soap Berries with Muslin Bag has ended.
Listing is for one laundry muslin bag with organic soap nuts, also known as soap berries. Soap berries are naturally grown and are environmentally friendly detergent for your clothes, house, and skin and hair.
Each bag includes approximately half an ounce or 5-6 soap nuts. The seeds have been removed and the husks are halved for more surface area contact with the water. Each bag can be used for 5-8 laundry loads. When the soap nuts lose some of its color and become almost mushy with little to no suds, then that's the time to toss them and use new soap nuts.
Soap nuts can also be boiled in water and used as a household cleaner, shampoo, and body wash. Keep refrigerated and use quickly within a week or two. There are no preservatives so it will spoil quickly. In each of its uses, the soap nuts barely suds, but it still does its job for cleansing. Suds in commercial cleansers are actually from a synthetic chemical and has no cleaning purpose.
Soap nuts can be reused after its laundry use to make household cleaner, shampoo, and body wash if it has suds left. But for a more concentrated product, use fresh soap nuts.
