That's how my son was with Buzz. We had 2 and they both fell apart cause he played with it so much. Wasn't near as interested in Woody though.

Question about the pull string never working - do you mean it wouldn't pull or just that it didn't talk when pulled?

String pulls back smoothly, but no sound. In the beginning we got sound sporadically, but not anymore.
