These will work with a laptop. You plug it into your headphone Jack. But if your wanting better sound for your laptop...not to detour you away from my auction...but being honest. You may want to go with a computer surround sound unit. That what I use with my laptop. On the go they are good for laptops...but if your gonna be stationary...the plug & play computer speaker system is the way to go.
