You are biding on 9 quilt squares. My Grandma did the a while back. And if I have to say so myself she did pretty good, lol.
I have a little box full of these quilt squares that she gave me. All different themes and some have not yet been finished the outline is there but she didn't do any sewing on them. But those are a whole other batch.
I just wanted to see how good or bad these ones did before I went posting any of the other one.
Maybe you guys won't find them as cute as I do.
I wish I was good at making quilts but I'm not.
I hope these do good so I can let her know what they bring. She is kinda wondering what they might bring too...

Yes! The original Kewpie doll design! Very popular in the 30s. That is when Kewpie were everywhere. I have an original doll from a fair from the 30s!
How wonderful.
God bless your grandma for hanging onto these.
I would love to win this auction and finish up the quilt by hand. I even have some feedsacks that would make a nice border ;-)

More info for you. These patterns grandma embroidered were from Set #5 issued during the depression in the 1930's.It is a set of 12 patterns.!!!! Good luck!!!
