Up for bids is a Allied Radio Shack 1000th Store commemorative coin. Has picture of Radio Shack chairman on the front, with the Tandy Corp. logo on the left, and, the words, "C. D. Tandy chairman" on the right. At the top ir reads: "Allied Radio Shack". On the bottom it reads: "Established in 1920". On the back it has the Allied Radio Shack logo in the middle, with "1000th" above the logo and "Store" below. Around the top it reads: "Franchise Company Joint Venture". Around the bottom it reads: "July 1, 1971". Approx. 1-1/2 inches in diameter. The coin has a milled edge and weights approx. 1 oz. Coin has no magnetic properties. Most likely made out of nickel alloy. But I am no expert on metals, do your research to find exact composition. This is a big coin!
