The listing, Mixed Marigold Packet stuffed with them! has ended.
This auction is for a packet that is stuffed with them. They are so thin and light and I have plenty. My friend grew these and they were glorious. These pictures are stock pictures taken from the internet to give you an idea of the variety you will get, yellows, oranges, reds, mixes and singles and doubles. Get this mixture and you will only have to buy white ones if you want a bigger selection! You cannot go wrong with these as they keep the bugs off your vegetables/fruits when grown in conjunction with them. AND they are beautiful! AND you never have to buy seeds again! Once grown all you have to do is pick off the dead heads for your own crop for the next year or to share like I am.
I do want to say that I have had a bit of problem with some of my seeds going awry and I do not pay extra for tracking. If you want tracking, you are welcome to pay extra for it. However, I am happy to resend when things do not reach you within a reasonable amount of time and you let me know. I have had the same problems with things not getting to me at times and people have provided me with the same service.
Marigolds are like weeds in that they are extremely easy to grow. Just scatter them on the worked up and fairly smooth damp earth, cover slightly and lightly spray with water. When I say cover slightly, a good rule of thumb for planting seeds is to plant them a bit more the depth of the seed and cover with the depth of the seed with more earth. When lightly spraying them with water you are settleing the earth and basically adhereing the earth to the seed so it doesn't blow away. By using damp earth in the first place you are ensuring that the seeds have a moist medium in which to grow. By doing this you are creating a better than average stage for the seeds to sprout than as if it followed nature's way. Nature is a hit or miss situation. Conditions have to be just right for the seeds to grow. I hope this helps you. Also, marigolds are good to plant for mosquitos and are great as a companion plant for your vegetables. Just google "how to plant marigold seeds" if you want more detailed instructions. Thanks!
